Nikita, Phil from the worldnomads.com safety hub here. Sweden as a whole has a pretty low crime rate, and Stockholm is one of the safest cities in the world, but like any large city anywhere and has the usual pickpockets, beggars and con-artists trying to separate the unwary from their cash and valuables. Central Station is a bit dodgy at night (same could be said of any major railway station in the world!)
Take the usual precautions. Most Swedes in the capital speak English, so if you need help just ask someone. The non-emergency number for police is 08 401 01 00 over 6 years ago

Living in Stockholm for whole my life (i'm at least a 4th generation Stockholmer ;-) i agree with the above. Be a bit cautious when bars and nightclubs close since some drunk swedes can get a bit rowdy. Otherwise you should have no problems just taking the normal precautions.
