I had amazing paella in Barcelona at place called Costa Gallega Restaurant. The address is Passeig de Gràcia, 71. It's really close to the Passeig de Gràcia metro station and you can walk there from Plaça Catalunya. We were a group of 4 and ordered paella for 2 people, per our waiter's suggestion, and it was enough for 4. It was delicious! almost 8 years ago

Even though paella is more typical of Valencia, Barcelona is no slouch with good places (and also so many touristy paces). I like the Barcelonetta neighborhood for paella and my fave spot is Can Ros. If you can, go on a Sunday lunch, which is a big family lunch day for Spaniards, so you will enjoy it along with the locals. I would also avoid a paella at night-it's way to heavy a meal for night time. almost 8 years ago
