Without question this would be the Alhambra. While it's famous, it's famous for a reason. Exquisite.

You can't go wrong with the Alhambra in Granada and Cordoba's Mezquita. Hotel Casa del Capitel Nazarí (http://hotelcasacapitel.com/en/) is a great spot if you're still looking for a place to stay in Granada. over 7 years ago

The alcazar in Sevillia is quite lovely. Much smaller than the Alhambra but quiet and less crowded. The gardens and grounds are a great place to spend a couple hours. The site is adjacent to the cathedral which has a moorish tower that was converted by the Christians into a bell tower. You can climb the tower to the top for another view of the alcazar. about 7 years ago

cordoba and/or granada. the mosque of cordoba is dayed earlier and is much more moorish. ir was promoted by the omeyas khalifas, coming directly from the middle east. the ahanbra of granada belongs to the latest era in spain, from the nazaries kalifas, by that time they had far less relatinship with the rest of the arabic world and in fact they debeloped an own style. nevetheless alhanbrabis for me far more spectacular. i would choose this if it has to be only one over 6 years ago
