The Albufera area (who claim to be the inventors of Paella) just south of Valencia is renown locally to have fantastic Paella especially the seafood varieties.

Just remember that Paella is always a lunch dish. Outside of lunchtime (and in many touristy restaurants) you're almost always going to get a reheated frozen Paella. over 7 years ago

You must to go to "El Palmar", close to the albufera. This small town has many restaurants where you can eat a wonderful paella.

You can take a bus from Valencia City to El Palmar. Look at this website: http://www.autocaresherca.com/linea.aspx?idLineaRegular=21
