As far as Barcelona goes, I can only recommend that you live like a local for the time that you´re here. If you´re not interested in visiting the Sagrada Familia or Font Mágica and the like, then I would recommend exploring the depths of the Barrio Gotic and El Born. Here, you will find hidden shops and bakeries and maybe even nicer restaurants. On warmer days, it can be fun to get off the metro at Barceloneta (L4) and walk to the beach and just people-watch. Also, the Boqueria can be touristy, but if you walk around and purchase things with a meal in mind, it´s not touristy at all and it can be a fulfilling experience. I hope this helps, and enjoy your time in Barcelona!
