Debbs, I think you're recidivist in this matter, since we already answered some weeks ago. Do not doubt that museums, shops, cinemas, bars, transport and everything will be open for you during the whole Christmas time in Madrid.

The countdown for the new year is followed by thousands of people (most of them tourist from all over the world) from the clock on top of a building in Puerta del Sol, a famous Square in Madrid downtown. It is traditional to eat twelve grapes, one on each chime of the clock, tradition that is followed by almost every Spaniard in their houses. After the clock has finished striking twelve, people greet each other and toast with sparkling wine such as cava or champagne or cider, at the same time as fireworks began.

After that, hundreds of parties will happen here and there, either privates (you should need someone to invite you) or feee for public in bars.

So, Debbs, do not ask again and come here. We're waiting for you !!!! about 8 years ago
