El Bicho is an amazing band that does fusion of flamenco and rock. I am not sure if they are still playing together though. Antonio Carmona is good. One of the best flamenco guitar player alive is Paco de LucĂa. Joan Manuel Serrat is wonderful, what he does is more like a protest song style, he is a 'trovador' (sorry, I don't know how to say that in English) Hope it helps! almost 10 years ago

I would also recommend Julian Bream, Isaac Albeniz, and John Williams. They play classics and are a good introduction if you want to get deeper into it. almost 10 years ago

    Hi Alicia,

Paco de Lucia, the world's renowned Flamencoist, comes to my mind. He plays Spanish Classical and Flamenco and is considered among the greatest. Well successfully learning how to play guitar is within the grasp of most people, yet many beginners give up too quickly. Frequently, quitting beginners will blame their lack of time to practice and that playing hurts their fingers.

Therefore research and choose instruction websites online. The internet has hundreds of web sites offering "free" lessons, most of which are very well designed and can be applied to your practice routine.
