What would be the best location along the coast of Spain to by a holiday apartment? Some regions are probably not as much affected by the crisis then other regions. We are looking for a quiet place along the coast in a good region.
Well about the crisis All are affected, period. But finding an appartment depends on:
1- where do u see yourself spending time at, quiet location, busy place, little village, how do you like the beach to b like and or if you want nightlife.
2- how do you like weather like in winter time.
3- What is your budget ?
4- Do you speak spanish?
5- Do you drive? And does it need to b right by the airport ?
If you have answer to all this i could give you ideas. about 7 years ago
If you are looking for a quiet spot along the coast, check out Nerja, which is about 45 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. This part of the Costa do Sol is relatively unspoiled, and still has a pleasant small town atmosphere, not like the overbuilt areas on the other side of Malaga down to Marbella.
Nerja has a great national park with mountains behind it, great weather (although as I write this in August it's hot), and a good international vibe! It's popular with Spanish tourists as well as other nationalities. There are great deals on holiday apartments, and plenty of selection of different types (apartments, townhouses and villas). It doesn't have the layers of high rises and urban build-up typical of so many other Spanish resort areas! Check it out! We love it! about 7 years ago
Another thing to consider is whether you want to rent it out at some point, while you are not staying there (I assume you want to invest into a holiday home, not a primary residence). Renting out is easier in touristy places (obviously), so do keep that in mind. over 6 years ago
