We are thinking of going to Spain in June & are wondering if the season would already have started then? Also any off the beaten track places that are worth a visit? We plan to hire a car & drive around.

Tourists come to the various parts of Spain throughout the year. However, clearly the peak season for much of mainline Spain is in the Summer, particularly for the beach resorts, with July and August the most busy months. In my experience, you can enjoy Spain anytime of the year. Personally, here in Nerja, I think May, June, September and October are fantastic! over 7 years ago
