The best time is Spring or Autumn. The summer could be hard and the winter who knows. over 7 years ago

Very broad question. How long do you have? What do you like to do? Culture, arts, architecture, nature, food, etc? Madrid and Barcelona are natural starting points and they are connected to each other by high speed train, so easily done. Andalucia is rich in Islamic architecture and it's warmer! over 7 years ago

For Andalusia, I think the two best months are May and September. As I write this in early June, the weather is fine, but it's starting to get hot, and will only get hotter in July and August. Last Winter in Nerja was great, but it was wetter and colder the prior two winters. Having said that, most of Andalusia as good weather year around! You can always find some activity suited to the weather. There were a Million skiers in the mountains above Granada, and like in parts of California, it would be possible to ski and go to the beach on the same fantastic Winter day! over 7 years ago
