Dunno that area for climbing , should have nice weather so, go ahead with it. But if u plan doing it anywhere else i´d advice all on the contrary, cause the weather conditions won´t b good 4 climbing. almost 7 years ago

I can't advise specifically about rock climbing, but you can do some absolutely fantastic mountain hiking in the Sierra Almijara mountains near Nerja, Spain. We did a hike above the small town of Frigiliana today (Dec 13, 2011) and the weather was absolutely beautiful! Not a cloud in the sky, clear and sunny with views over the Mediterranean! The taller peaks in the area are around 2,000 meters, and sometimes we see Andalusian Ibyx, which the Spanish call "Cabra Montes"! Have fun! almost 7 years ago

El Chorro in the mountains is fantastic for climbing. Both sport and trad. Plus the very exciting El Camino del Rey (google it). I think Rockfax has a good guidebook. I'll be there around Christmas too. Can't recommend it enough. Good luck. almost 7 years ago
