we'll be in Korea next week for 5 days, apreciate advice on where and how to get around and see cultural stuff given we only speak English.
Dmz is worth seeing as its probably one of a kind place in the world. Seoul has alot of palaces (im sure you'll be bored of palaces by the end of your trip). Theres a place called secret garden in one of the palaces and have been told its beautiful in autumn. I went out to a place called suwong fortress which is a city that was once surrounded by city walls. The place was ok and suwong is famous for its beef ribs. It would definitely be handy to learn a few phrases and make sure you have korean translations of detsinations (restaurants or hotel) as taxi drivers/bus drivers generally have no idea what you are refering to if you just speak english. I was told by my local korean tourism office that all koreans speak english and all signs are in english.... The truth was far from it.... I almost 7 years ago
