    Paju in the north is on the border so you can visit the DMZ. Also Paju has a "book city" and Heyri Art Village if you are interested in those things. Busan in the south Is gorgeous with a good beach and some small local hiking areas in between the districts. I would definitely get to Seoraksan for some hiking, beautiful views, can choose from easy going to more aggressive routes.
