Most people are interested in the DMZ tours. I have heard that the one organised by the American army is the best. The palaces in Seoul are also quite unique, but bundle up warm if you're going to be braving that in this weather. Here's a link I hope helps http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/index.kto. If you're travelling with younger children they might enjoy Everland or Lotte World amusement parks. You could also try the markets in Insadong. almost 7 years ago

Yeah, as mentioned above dmz and panmunjeon if u can afford it... At panmunjeon u can actually feel the hostility and secretiveness between the 2 sides and also technically venturing 5 metres into n Korea. I suppose palaces is one of the Main tourist attractions in seoul but it will get boring after a while... I saw a show called nanta (listed as top 10 attraction). It was really good and no knowledge of Korean needed... almost 7 years ago

To be considered and choose : the cheongyechon stream, the palaces,eg gyeongbukkong, gwanghwamun, the blue hse (the president's residence), korean folk village.
If you like shopping - dongdaemun (wholesale), namdaemun & myeongdong.
If you can extend stay, include jeju island or nami island
