I went to SA in Sept and was a great time to go. We saw so many animals at Kruger and would highly recommend a few days there. The garden route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. It is a good time for whale watching and the wine region around Cape town is well worth a couple of days. The Cape is also worth a day and of course Table mountain in Cape town. I think the best weather in Cape Town is in Feb / March as the south easter wind drops off and it is still warm. Also less tourists. Not sure about Kruger though. over 7 years ago

Well anytime really. There are loads of wine festival in and around Cape Town at the moment. It is also actually quite warm at the moment. Nothing like Stellenboch and Franchhoek wines! over 7 years ago

Don't forget there is 1800km between Kruger and CT. Best time for Kruger is the dry season from June to October. Best for CT is from Feb to End of April. over 7 years ago
