I will be in Jo'Burg and Cape Town probably in March 2011 and I would obviously love to see the Victoria falls.

What is the best way to get there?

I would fly up to Livingstone and you can get to the Falls through the national park just outside the town. The Zambia side is not as impressive as the Zimbawee side. We walked across the bridge and through the Border (visas were at a cost for some people but not all) and paid to get into the park.

Also we stayed down by the river and some of my best photos are from an evening cruise on the River

In March the falls should be in full flow over 7 years ago

You can also fly directly into Vic Falls airport, Zimbabwe if you like.
However the cheapest flights are with https://www.1time.aero/ landing in Livingstone.
Leave room in your budget for both visa's. :) over 7 years ago
