I'm going to cape town for a few months next year and want to see as much as south Africa as possible. I will most likely be traveling alone.

The greatest advantage is that the drivers know what areas are safe and will not put your lives in any danger unlike when you travel solo through ANY country, do you know which route the bus is going to use? Over how many days is your trip from Jburg to Cape Town? almost 9 years ago

I was going to take the route from j'burg to Durban then to j-bay and stopping at whatever towns spark my interest I'm not sure how long I'll be on the road. almost 9 years ago

I agree with Mdu, the driver of the BazBus knows what areas are safe and which aren't, and their route takes you on the most scenic, peaceful, enjoyable route. BazBus has been around for ages and they know their routes well. If that doesn't put your mind at ease, you can always chat to the driver when you arrive at a destination, he'll be more than happy to give you a run down on where it is okay and not okay to walk after dark. almost 9 years ago
