There's lots to see and do. It's a beautiful place with a lot of tourist options. In fact, If there was a bucket list of cities, Cape town will make it into the first ten! Get a good cab service and hit the road. You can go see whales in glass bottomed boats at Bays Camp; stare at the 'twelve Apostles' in awe; visit the cafes and bars along the water front; sky dive; water ski, rent a boat and sail out around the cape; take a ride over the beach mountains in the sky cart....like i said, its endless. Whatever you do though, avoid staying in hotels around the city centre...place becomes a bit unsafe at night with ominous looking young chaps milling around dark street corners. Stay nearer to the beach. Have fun. almost 7 years ago

Don't forget to visit Pringle bay. Book in advance for the best fish meal cooked on an open fire at hook line and sinker. Hermanus walker bay area quite beautiful and there are also some good wineries in the area. Lots of good and cheap b&b all over cape town or you can go self catering. Long street cape town fabulous if you like clubbing and a great vibe at night. Stellenbosch great for wine tasting visit Warwick, kanonkop, Fairview etc book lunch at Fairview. over 6 years ago
