Depending on what you are looking for in Singapore, whether it is for it's culture, history, shopping, sight-seeing, food, nightlife, gambling, there will be something to enthrall you in our tiny island. We are known for our multiple-cultural cuisine, as a garden city, lively nightlife and as a shopper's paradise. Take your pick.
You can get good recommendations from the tourist counter at our airport or harbor. Whilst there at the airport, do take in the newly renovated facilities there.
A river cruise is highly recommended just to admire our cityscape from the bumboats plying the river.
Tourists are very fond of taking our trishaw rides, just ask at your hotel reception to book you on such a tour.
Do try our food as the great variety will surely whet your appetite.
Places worth visiting would be our night safari, the Singapore Flyer similar to the London Eye, Botanic Gardens where you can experience the primary forest that is being preserved there and the orchid garden.
I would recommend our off-shore islands that are reminiscent of tropical Hawaii.
Tourist love our Sentosa Island for it's varied activities.
Hope you will enjoy visiting our little red dot. about 9 years ago
