Singapore - Value Hotel Thomson

almost 9 years ago about Singapore

Hi, I'll be staying at the Value Hotel Thomson in Singapore. Randomly picked it out from dozens of budget hotels. Hope its not too bad?

This will be my 1st time flying to Singapore. Wat are my options in terms of transport from the airport to the city? Do I need to worry about being fleeced by taxi drivers?

Absolutely not.The taxi fares might be higher at peak hours, though. The easiest way would be MRT.It gets you to almost everything of this nation.Enjoy yourself! almost 9 years ago

There are also shuttle buses from Airport to Hotel or vis versa. You don't have to worry about taxi drivers in Singapore. They are very very honnest and not expensive. almost 9 years ago

It's a budget hotel, small room but clean. Location-wise, it's not in town but about 10 minutes away.

No need to worry about taxi as it's by meter. When in doubt, ask for a receipt. This way, you can always contact the company and trace back the driver. It's very rare that you will meet a dishonest driver, thus it shouldn't be a main concern. Enjoy your trip. almost 9 years ago
