Belgrade is a nice and incredibly cheap city. And the people are really kind and helpful you will feel so nice but there not a special place to visit
The kalemegdan is a giant park with trees, a castle, zoo and a war museum but still it is only a regular park

Check out Kalemegdan Fortress, it's in a city center and amazing place to chillout. Other must see places include Ada Ciganlija, a lake on river Sava, Lido, Danube Quay, Gardos Tower, Zemun, Skadarlija etc. Look for those places on Google Maps and Wikipedia.
If you wanna experience some nightlife, visit one of the many "splavs" - river boat clubs, or if you like regular clubs, theres a variety to visit, depending on the music you like. The nightlife and clubbing in Belgrade is amazing, so have fun! over 6 years ago

Belgrade is cheap and really interesting. The only thing not to do is be outwardly America-centric. The bombings of the 90s still weigh in the minds of the citizens. That being said, it's really amazing. Go see the fortress and the pedestrian shopping streets. It's an awesome place. almost 6 years ago
