Where should I go and what should I do in Serbia?
I am planning on travelling to Serbia in April.
I think I will plan to be there for about 3-4 days.
What are suggestions for safe, cheap lodging, (I am a solo female traveler) cultural experiences, budget adventures, and delicious food in Serbia?
I am also really interested in learning more about the history and current political climate of Serbia, so suggestions for museums, historic landmarks etc. would be great!
Also, I am interested in going to Kosovo for a day, suggestions on that as far as getting there, safety etc?
I will not have a car. Will probably be taking a bus to and from Serbia.
Thank you!

Hi Johanna,
I actually wrote a piece on Serbia, which is published on here, the World Nomads website. Just search Serbia and you will find it. I found Belgrade, the capital, to be an amazing city. The old town, as well the main part of the city will need 2 days to explore at least. I just stayed in a hostel dorm room, which was very inexpensive. The local food is everywhere to be sampled, especially the borek. almost 3 years ago
