    Sure you can. Go to a local mobile network store and ask for a sim card. The largest stores are Euroset, Svyaznoy. All 3 major operators provide the unlimited tariff plans so you can pick the preferable one. The average price is about 10-20 euros/month. Don't forget your passport since it's required. The only thing that may disappoint is a pretty limited coverage of 3G network, however if you are gonna stay downtown Moscow ( central district) it works quite well. over 6 years ago

    I bought one from MTS, www.mts.ru, it was 950 rubles (~30 USD), included two months of unlimited internet, and they also gave me a 3G USB modem over 6 years ago
