I'm flying out of Berlin, but am currently staying in krakow. I was looking for the cheapest way to get between the two.

I would try the train if you want to see the countryside. I also heard it is cheap to fly but have never tried that way yet. If you take the train and go through Austria you will need to make a transfer by shuttle when you get to the Czech- Austria line. about 9 years ago

    1. Air Berlin has direct flights between the two cities (~100 eur)
    2. Carpooling via http://www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de (~30-40 eur)
    3. Night train to Szczecin (12h, some 30-40 eur) + regional train Szczecin - Berlin (2h, 10 eur single ticket or 5 eur group ticket participation - don't buy the ticket in advance, just talk to the people on the platform or inside the train about group configurations). Check http://rozklad-pkp.pl for timetables. about 8 years ago
