There's no much to see of the Warsaw Ghetto now, as it was literally levelled with the ground by the German occupants after the Ghetto Uprising. The limits of the Ghetto wall are traced here and there on the ground. A couple of the remnants of the orginal wall are to be seen. The remaining buildings are the Nożyk Synagogue and the Main Library for Judaistic Studies - now the seat of Jewish Historical Institute. There is the Memorial of the Ghetto Heroes and the other one commemorating the Umschlagplatz - the place from where the Jews were gathered for transports to Auschwitz - as well as the number of the lesser memorial stones. over 7 years ago
