Talking about locations that are not tourist locations. Looking to get immersed into the culture and finding some cheap accommodation and the general cost of living?

  • The cost of living here is lower or not expensive. If you have dollars or Euro money converted into pesos that is already a lot. You can do so many things, try out the beaches , go on a food trip, island hopping....not exaggerating...it will go a long, long way Maverick Evangelista almost 7 years ago

Where in the Philippines? try this link http://www.olx.com.ph/houses-apartments-for-rent-cat-363

That's right, the cost of living in the Philippines is low compare to Singapore and HongKong.

For apartment rental in Manila, you can get rental for only $500 to $800 a month depending on what you want. For food and transportation, that's around $400 a month. Approximately $1000 to $1200 a month for a comfortable lifestyle in Manila. almost 7 years ago
