Camping on Deserted Island

over 4 years ago about Philippines

Backpacking through the Philippines in October for a month. I was told that there is this adventure you can do where you can hire someone to drop you off and pick you up on one of the deserted island and you can experience living on the island for 24 to 48 hours. Making your own shelter, gathering your own food and stuff. I kinda wanna try this out.

Does anyone have experience on this or have any resources?

Hello! This description sounded like Survivor! Haha just kidding. You may want to consider Apo Reef, Occidental Mindoro for that but you really need to bring everything with you (tent, food, etc) or book through a tour company since the boat hire are really expensive if you go alone. There is also no phone signal nor fresh water for shower.

Or choose any island of your liking and just ask permission from the local government or the person in charge of the island if you could camp there. It usually works like that. over 4 years ago
