I was in Lima and it's going to be the winter season down there. Some days will be cloudy and misty from the ocean and some days will be beautiful. The weather down there is quite mild so it shouldn't be too cold. Unless, of course, you head into the Andes mountains, then it will be quite cold at night. over 6 years ago

Last year-July-first week, we were in Peru. It was was cloudy in Lima, cooler in Cusco, and rainy at Machu Pichu- we definitely needed rain jacket. You need to dress in layers, it definitely was not shorts weather. over 6 years ago

I travelled peru in July 2 years ago... while its very warm in huachinna, lake titicaca and cusco during the day it's pretty cold at night, as in you will need your wollys! Mancora (which is in northern peru) was hot day&night. I agree with the above lima is quite dull and cloudy so you will need to have your layers! When we went to machu picchu it really opened up after sunrise and was quite warm up there. Hope that helps! over 6 years ago
