Hi.
My partner and I are doing a ski season in Canada and then we would like to travel down to Califonia and spend some time LA, San Francisco etc.
My first question is what's the best mode of transport to do the trip? We we're thinking or hiring a car, or booking a spot of the greyhound, but not sure what's best?
I know it's like a 2-day (full days) drive to get to Calinfornia from Vancouver so we would like to stop a maximum of 3 times.
Can anyone recomend some stops?
One last thing, we're heading to Puerto Escondido, Mexico for 2.5 weeks after California and from there we fly to New York and continue our trip in Europe- just in case the effects your advice :)

Thanks heaps!

Take the train and stop in Portland Oregon , San Francisco , LA , and continue on to San Diego . You could also stop in Seattle and beautiful but rather uptight .
