    It really depends where in NZ you are travelling. The North and South Island are very different. almost 7 years ago

    Unpredictable comes to mind just take layers as clothing but always carry a light rain coat what ever time you visit NZ over 6 years ago

    Auckland is extremely humid in February! I grew up in Auckland and I would newly go crazy every Feb, could not wait for summer to be over. lower down the Islands, not too bad at all,just summer and lovely. over 6 years ago

    February is the height of summer, and along with January, will be the best weather you're going to find in most places in NZ. That said, it doesn't get above the high 60's (F) in Wellington, but the sun is stronger and you don't have the crazy storms. over 6 years ago
