I'll be there in June and would add the Anne Frank museum to the above suggestions. http://www.annefrank.org almost 11 years ago

It depends on what you want, but the suggestions are all very very touristy (except for taking the train to Haarlem - lovely town!).
If you're interested in some more local / less visited stuff, try for example the Foam photography museum (www.foam.nl) , or visiting a typical canal house - Willet Holthusen

And enjoy my city! Bart almost 11 years ago -
I really enjoyed the Van Gogh museum - so I second that. I also loved wandering around the city with my camera - so many amazing things to take photos of! almost 11 years ago

The canal cruises around the city are really cheap. I paid 24 euros for 2 people and I think it went for a couple of hours. It's a good way to see a lot of the city, especially when you don't have much time to explore. Try www.canal.nl/en/ or www.hir.nl/en/
Visit some coffee shops, wander through the red light district, hire a bike.. I'm sure you'll find plenty of things to amuse yourself :) about 10 years agoAnswered by Jemma viaTravellr.com
