    The dining room is usually heated by a stove in the middle, but if it is really cold outside then you will need to be very close to it to be warm! It would be best to assume that it will still be cold inside. Rooms are never heated - and we should not expect them to be as this would use a considerable amount of energy and resources. almost 7 years ago

    No, they aren't and many of the treks get really high up. In fact, I was trekking there in February a long time ago and I've never been so cold - minus 26 from memory. Wore everything I had inside a sleeping bag inside a hut and was still cold.

    Nope, and it's freezing especially once you get to Tengboche and above! We had to sleep with our water bottles in our sleeping bags to stop them freezing, the toilets even froze over. I went in late January. almost 7 years ago
