
Is Nepal currently safe for trekking in the Annapurna region?
I have ben hearing that certain government sites (not sure which ones) are saying Nepal is a no-go zone due to protests. Is that only in a specific area?

re the protests, yes there are some current warnings about possible violence... just stay away from demos and public gatherings in the bigger towns.

my opinion, annapurna region is safe...yes nowadays india is block border aria so some thing is crisis here but hotel are open and nepalis people never harm tourist. they always believe gest ....so my dear if you come nepal then help this contoury. over 5 years ago
