What are the most useful shoes for Nepal in May (non-trekking)?
I am going to Kathmandu and Pokhara in two weeks and am really stressing over shoes. What should I take? Do my walking shoes need to be waterproof? Are sandals/flip flops okay for daily wear? I want to pack light light light so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Sandals will be fine. But since it starts to rain early June, u might even think of getting something waterproof, prevent ur self from getting wet walking all the potholes , and muddy roads that appear everywhere. Hope that was helpful! Cheers. over 5 years ago

Whatever shoes you decide to take, wear them first so that you wont get blisters while you're there.
Most camping stores/outdoor stores will have some really comfy walking sandals which are lightweight and perfect for Nepal in June. over 5 years ago
