Yes, it's good that first night on arrival and an evening before you depart {it's for Kathmandu} & names are given for Pokhara...

Welcome to Nepal Ritjana and I would suggest following program

Day 01 Day Join Kathmandu 1300m
Arrive in Kathmandu. Stay overnight in selected hotel.

    Day 02 Drive to Pokhara/800m (2624ft)
After hot breakfast drive 200km to Pokhara and it takes about 6-7 hours from Kathmandu by tourist bus. It is an exciting and romantic drive that we can enjoy beautiful scenic view of terraced rice field, eye catching landscape, Trisuli and Marsyangdi Rivers and spectacular panoramic view of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and most of Annapurna Himalayan Range are seen. The tourist coach stops for breakfast at 09:00 am and at around 12:00 for lunch on the way to Pokhara. Or you can fly to Pokhara to save time.

    Day 03: Pokhara – Ghandruk/1940m 5-6 hours walk.
Sightseeing in Pokhara, Davis fall, Fewa lake, Mahendra cave, Seti River or hike or drive to Peace Stup (Japanese Pagoda). And hang around pokkhara Lake Side, there are hundreds of bars……….

Day 04: Fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara and fly back to homeland. This trip is possible if you book through a travel agency. almost 8 years ago

Hi. Don't fly internally in Nepal ( i.e. KTM to Pokara) as recommended by previous response. Buses are easy to catch and frequent. You can also get good quality AC tourist buses if you prefer. Yes, the journey is a bit longer but the scenery is beautiful and it is just not worth the risk of the plane crashing (sorry, but this happens frequently). The best place to eat in Pokhara is Moonpeak. It is a little more expansive than some others but food (and dessert) is spot on. If you get a chance also try and do a trip to Begnas Tal (a big, beautiful lake that doesn't have too many tourists) - staying over night at a guesthouse here was one of the best things I did in Nepal. almost 8 years ago
