Weather conditions, type clothing, snow??

    It's not bad to trek around lat Dec/Jan. Of course, at that time will be cold at night but you can get extra blanket easily from lodge because much less tourist used to go at that time.
    You have to prepared for cold wearing clothes like flees, down jacket, pullover,warmer inner trousers, gloves, sleeping bag -20 degree....
    I used to trek over there around till middle of Dec. weather was good and was not snowing but at base cam of course, ice.
    I wish n January at Gorakshep , lodge will be keep opens at least one. Better to make sure before Gorakshep either there is closed lodge or not?

    Thanks for the information, maybe best to go another time of the year. My other alternative is March or April. almost 6 years ago

    hello sir
    i am from Everest region i born there.the weather will be wonderfull no snowing if snowing not too much also cause of global warming but defiantly it will be cold but Everest region we make you warm anyway...so you can explore over 5 years ago
