Temple Tiger in Chitwain National Park suggest they do elephant conservation, however during my time there I could only really see that they just look after the elephants they have at the resort. I was quite sad on a morning safari (on elephant) when our ride kept kitting our elephant - Lucky Kali - on the head with what seemed to be a crow bar. He said the elephant didnt feel it, yet I'm sure I saw her flinch. She certainly reacted...... over 8 years ago

    • Thank you for answering with your experience.......I know they hurt the elephants in the camps or at least when they train them for the tourist trade. I was hoping someone was running a rescue center for old or injured ones. I think there is not. Very sad. gizmita1 over 8 years ago

This is one of the serious and majour question , to be honest till date we dont have any elephant rescue centers the reason is one lack of animal right which is not mention strictly in our law and second is finance situation , but still some of non governmental organisation makes some campagin to make general people aware that amimal are also a beautiful creation of nature like human being treat well , as of my knowledge we have now street dog rescue ,lets hope that the day will come for elephant as well thankyou over 8 years ago
