Hi - I will be travelling to Mozambique soon with work for about a month. I have unlocked my iPhone through Verizon in the US, but am trying to figure out if it is possible to buy a local micro-sim on PAYG? I know I can buy a local PAYG SIM, am trying toi figure out of micro-sim cards are available in Mozambique, and better still, if I can do data on PAYG (e.g. like this traveller in Japan: http://answers.worldnomads.com/questions/japan/3520/can-i-buy-prepaid-mobile-sim-in-japan)

Thanks!
Chris

There are 2 service providers in Moz, I would suggest you go with Vodacom, you will have to cut the normal sim to micro sim size I dont know of any places that do that in Moz! about 6 years ago

I'm probably late to answer, sorry, but either vodacom or mCel sim cards will allow you to use data on your Iphone - if it doesn't work immediately, just go to a store and they'll easily help you with the configuration.

They're no microsim cards in Mozambique as of yet, but many local stores cut them for you - for sure the mobile shop at Polana Shopping can help you out. about 6 years ago
