Rent a Jeep and travel around the island. There is a great park at the southern tip of the island. It costs around 12 USD each to get in but there are great views from a lighthouse, a crocodile area, and a great snorkel reef at the end of the park. On the way up the east side of the island be sure to stop at a restaurant called coconuts. Great views and a good time no matter what time of day.

    Enjoy. about 9 years ago

Snorkeling is incredible. . .bring some dog biscuits in the water if you want to see a feeding frenzy. Also, Chankanaab park has a program where you can swim with dolphins. I recommend the push, pull & swim tour, where you get to actually hold on to them while they swim around the pool with you. Very cool about 9 years ago

All great ideas, but please don't feed the fish if you're in the Marine Park, it's against the rules and bad for the ecosystem! See: http://thisiscozumel.com/content/view/368/43/ about 9 years ago

Try the chac chac tours snorkel tour. Takes about half a day. Also the Chancanab park scuba tour is worth the money. Buy a disposable underwater camera and They will take pictures of you. No Padi certification need for most dive tours since they are all shallow water dives not in open water. The current local club for the young and bold is the Dubai. If you like to off road take the jeep or buggy tour. You will be muddy from head to toe and get to see many of the ancient places on the island. Go bargain shopping for silver jewelry Sunday afternoons and evening. The vendors give better deals after the cruise ships leave port. about 9 years ago
