My brother is moving to Puebla with his company and would welcome any tips/advice on neighborhoods to live in, things to do, restaurants & cafes, bars and where the local artsy folks hang out as well as where he may find some expat haunts.

Check out my blog, www.allaboutpuebla.com, for information in English about Puebla, Mexico, and its environs. I also organize occasional expat get-togethers for foreign residents in the area. Your brother can contact me through the Expats tab on the website. almost 10 years ago

Puebla is a very traditional city for the locals, but it is also a college city so there are a lot of young people from other states that live far from home. The malls are the main thing to do in weekends, but there is also an amazing zoo and a ancient ruins 10 minutes far from Puebla. The down town has an incredible architecture of XVI sentury. There are many bars and coffees in the Juarez avenue and Zavaleta. Cholula is famous for its pubs at night. over 8 years ago
