Hi, heading to KL for 4 days and have never been before. Looking for somewhere really nice in a good area. Can anyone recommend the best areas of KL to stay in and the areas to avoid? Just wanna do some shopping and sight seeing.

Swiss Inn in the heart of China Town is pretty decent if you get the deluxe room. It's very very convenient and lots of street food around the area. Only cost 15Ringgit from the airport train terminal to the hotel. over 11 years ago

I stayed at Anjung Guesthouse last year. It's in Bukit Bintang area on a quiet street just behind Jalan Alor - a renowned food street in KL. There are a good handful of guest houses around here.
