Try out Lorong Selamat "Char Koay Teow".. It's guarantee delicious! Note- not the red hat aunts, expensive and rude, ktg char Koay Teow not bad. I recommend the hidden char Koay Teow stall inside the food court which formerly known as midtown cafe. Thumbs up for this!,! about 9 years ago

We were there in December and stumbled across a recommendation in Timeout magazine for the best place for Fish Head Curry. Took a taxi there and even the taxi driver wanted to know how we knew about this place because it has quite the reputation. It was, without doubt, the best Malaysian food I've ever had.
Restaurant 77

Super Yummy
(Don't be put off by the name nor the fact that the dish arrives with a fishes head, teeth included.)
You'll have to take a taxi as it's a little way outside the old town, but it's worth the effort. It's also near an excellent night market so you can finish with some Ice kachang afterwards just a short stroll away. over 7 years ago -
