shopping for what exactly? if you are in the city center you will find what you're looking for, just because there are malls for everything. However, the smaller shops all around the city center offer much more variety, and you probably get better deals there. over 9 years ago

There r a lot of shopping malls in KL. The best would be Pavilion, Suria KLCC, Mid valley. For market, u can go to Petaling street and Central market. Petaling street is the so-called China town in KL. over 9 years ago

For knock offs best place is Petaling Street in the evenings. For a good mix of everything, no place beat Sungei Wang Plaza at Bukit Bintang. over 9 years ago

Sungei Wang Plaza, and the top levels of Berjaya Times Square would be your best bet. you can get everything from clothes, shoes to random toys cheap, without having to bargain either. Both malls are located next to each other. over 9 years ago

At the Bukit bintang area(aka Golden triangle) you have all the popular shopping centers like Sungai Wang plaza(mid range general goods), Bukit Bintang plaza(mid general), Fahrenheit(high), Starhill(high), KLCC(high), Times square(general), Low Yat plaza (technology, pc, phones & etc) & Imbi plaza(tech) all nestled there within walking range (similar to Orchard road, Singapore) plus they are accessible via the monorail & connected to KL sentral(train st) & to the ERL which is directly connected to KLIA (airport). Depending on what you are looking for, these malls have everything. Another popular one among locals is the mid valley mall & the gardens which is accessible by car/taxi & the KTM commuter(from KL Sentral) but this two mall is similar to the malls mentioned above but situated at a more suburb area of KL (near Bangsar). over 9 years ago
