You are better off flying, as it is actually cheaper and faster than a coach, I have done it a few times and the prices for the coach are crazy expensive over 9 years ago

Disagree with the first answer given here. The bus takes about 5 hours. A flight can be cheaper if you book in advance but the time it takes is almost the same. While the flight is only about 50 minutes you have to get to the airport at least 1-1,5 hours before the flight, the bus from LCCT (where the cheap airlines fly to/from) takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. My previous trip to Singapore I left 8.20 am and checked into my hotel in Singapore around 2pm. The bus is more comfortable and you don't have to change transportation methods.

I recommend http://www.odysseynow.com.my/ Another option is Aeroline. The odyssey bus is better but they depart/arrive from Mont Kiara so you have to take a 15RM taxi if you are going to the KL city centre. over 9 years ago

I agree with Espen. I have taken Aeroline many times to Singapore and prefer this as my mode to Singapore. It's not more expensive than flights for sure. Flights are only cheap when you plan ahead. Otherwise, bus is still cheaper. At least based on my calculations. What I like about bus is that you can do your work on board. As soon as you board, you can turn on your laptop with personal plug points. Get on the phone. You are always in touch, mobile office has a new meaning. :-)

One advantage for Aeroline is they have I think a few stations. I take the one at One Utama. I know of another in Sunway. Can't remember the other two. But their website is here https://www.aeroline.com.my/ So if your business is around PJ area it just makes sense to take these. I live in Taman Tun so the One U station is very convenient for me.

I don't want to rant about Air Asia here, but my experience with them is bad. For my monthly travels to Jakarta now, I fly KLM even when it is RM200 more expensive per trip. over 9 years ago
