Not so much a hotel, but more like a guesthouse, The Explorer's Guest House is cheap and well located. I stayed there for two nights in a 3 bed shared room.
They have free tea and coffee. Breakfast is also included, which is cereals, toast, jam etc.

My tip: try roti canai for breakfast. I lived there for 10 months and it was my fave breakfast by far. over 7 years ago

I think Tim got a point, food in KL is really affordable, a local breakfast will cost you somewhere between 1-2 US$, because of this, most budget dont offer breakfast as it does not add much value. My advice is go around where u stay, visit their local food stall, if need to, u may ask the local people, we will be more than happy to give you food tips. :)
