This may not be the answer you are looking for (I don't have any experience of "top" restaurants in KL), but I firmly believe that the best way of getting the most genuinely delicious and down-to-earth Malaysian cuisine is to eat the street and hawker food. In KL. Jalan Alor is considered by many to be the top food precinct at present. But it's not a restaurant per se. over 10 years ago

Perhaps you have to 'define' the "TOP RESTAURANTS". You are basically referring to very popular eatery places regardless of prices, or high-end restaurants with nice ambiance and expensive dining restaurants..??? Like what Dan suggested, Jalan Alor is famous for variety of foods to choose from, but it's only located along the street decently, but not in the restaurant itself.. about 10 years ago
