Hello everyone,

I've learnt how to say "vegetables only", "I'm a vegetarian" and "no meat, no fish", but was just wondering if there are any travellers out there who could perhaps give me some more advice?

I realise that Malaysia has a very meat-centric food culture, but I'd still like to give it a go. Do you know of any traditional Malay meals which happen to be vegetarian, or an easily be altered to be vego?

I understand I may sometimes end up eating fish sauce or shrimp paste, but I'd like to steer clear of meat as much as possible! Just to be clear, I eat milk, cheese and eggs.

Rice and noodle are the best things everyone must taste when in Malaysia. You must also taste some local dishes of Malaysia. Here are few of the best food spots of Malaysia where you can have delicious food in Malaysia:

    Little Penang Kafe
    Hawker Stalls in Chinatown
    Little Italy
