I am an Indian and travelling as follows:
CMB-KUL using sri lanakanairways
KUL-DPS using Malaysian airways

Do I need to cross immigration for a change over at KUL? hence, do I need a Visa?

    have a look on your ticket about which terminals you'll be arriving and departing from. The Low Cost Carrier terminal (LCCT) will certainly require you to clear customs from KLIA. But I believe you'll be arriving at the Satellite terminal and leaving from the main terminal, which are connected by the Aerotrain. From what I can tell you'll be able to transfer without crossing customs (can anyone else help here), but regardless of that, since September 2010 Indian citizens will be issued a Transit Without Visa Pass at KLIA. Best to check with your airline(s) and the Malaysian high Commission in India. over 5 years ago
