I'm considering staying at a hostel in Kuala Lumpur but I'd also like to see the rainforest and nature of Malaysia. Would this be the optimal location?

Check with hostels you'd like to stay at. Some of them would offer the service of transporting you to the rainforest or nature conservatories at a package price. Is there a particular rainforest or nature state that you are looking for? about 8 years ago

Kuala lumpur is safe..you can fine a good value hostels in Chinatown. The best place for rainforest fans is Taman Negara that can vist from Kuala Lumpur for overnight trip..I haven't been there but i asked and been told that its 4 to 6 hours by bus from Kuala Lumpur..you can go there by your own or by joining a tour but its much cheaper if you go alone. Taman Negara is well know as the oldest rainforest in the world. about 8 years ago

If you wanna see rainforest my suggestion is to get to the National Park locally known as "Taman Negara". It's situated at the state of Pahang about 8 years ago
