    That's a very open-ended question, so I would give a qualified yes.

That's RM1777/month. That is certainly more than enough for food, transport and general living expenses if you generally try to live like a local. One Malaysian friend of mine (a teacher) gets around RM2000/month and I believe that is before tax.

It may help if you were to give a little more detail as to what you intend to spend your time doing in KL. Have you perchance in fact found a job which will provide you with free accommodation and RM16000 over nine months? about 10 years ago

A fresh graduate earns about RM2,500 per month and a sales assistant at the shop earns about RM1,000-RM1,500 per month. With free accommodation, and if you live economically, it should be enough. about 10 years ago

That's RM59 a day. It's enough for simple food, no alcohol & public transport. Nothing fancy, enough to get you full, no dry mouth and get you there and back. That's all. There are many things to do and see in KL, try to give yourself more so that you can truly enjoy your stay there. about 9 years ago
